“Thank you for sending me the abstract. I enjoyed it very much. Yes, networks are important and the governance of networks more so. We have to move from an exploitative, transaction oriented system to an equitable relationships oriented system. Hope you will have this published somewhere in India and have more people reflect on your point of view. - Prof. C.K. Prahalad , Management Guru

“The subject is topical. I compliment you for making it stirring and stimulative. The efficacy, potentiality and relevance to India of “SCM” as a “powerful tool” to be deployed, has been extremely well modulated and brought out in your impressive presentation. – Suresh A. Kotak, Chairman, COTAPP Research (EICA) & Trustee, Indian Merchants Chamber Economic Foundation, Mumbai

This well-structured, easy-to-read book is an excellent application of Supply Chain Management principles to Agriculture. Uttar Pradesh as a background setting gave opportunity to discuss a wide range of commodities in depth. The magic wand that can unlock the potential of Indian agriculture is wrapped up in these pages. I would recommend this book highly for people in Government, Banking and Agribusiness alike - Sivakumar, Chief Executive - Agri Businesses,
ITC Limited, Secunderabad

We are delighted to go through the thesis. I am amazed at your 58 points conclusions and suggestions. We share your views and we are also working on a few issues already. With Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), we are experimenting on post harvest processing for chillies, paddy, mango, vegetables, flowers and medicinal plants on a pilot basis. Unless the market margin is integrated with farm income, agriculture is not going to be viable. A new way of agriculutaral economics has to emerge to make agriculture viable and competitive. – M.P. Vasimalai, Executive Director, DHAN Foundation, Madurai

My compliments to you on spotting the requirements so well ahead of the emergence of the problems; I have found the material relevant and incisive and very close to the ground requirements - Shri P.H. Ravikumar, MD&CEO, NCDEX, Mumbai
